Students carried out a project comparing single-use plastic straws with reusable alternatives. They researched different types of reusable straws, investigated their prices, availability and places where they can be purchased, and explored practical alternatives to disposable straws. Students evaluated the environmental impact of both options and discussed the benefits of reducing plastic waste. Their findings were presented to the wider school community, raising awareness about sustainable choices and encouraging others to replace single-use products with reusable ones.
