During Week 1 of the 30-Day Sustainability Challenge, students took part in a practical clean-up action at school, in the surrounding neighbourhood and at the local beach. They collected litter, used recycling bins, separated waste where possible and discussed the importance of keeping public spaces clean. Through this activity, students understood how waste affects both the school environment and the marine ecosystem, while developing teamwork, responsibility and active citizenship. The action was documented with photos showing student participation, waste collection and the final results of the clean-up.
