Students collected rainwater from school roofs and stored it in water containers. We are aware that periods of low rainfall are becoming more frequent. It makes important to use available water resources responsibly. The collected rainwater was used to water young trees in the school park, helping them survive during dry periods and grow into healthy trees. In the future, these trees will provide shade, reduce water evaporation from the soil and contribute to a cooler and more pleasant school environment.
