Learning Task
Students work in groups to investigate factors that affect food security, examine nutrient content in foods (Science), map global hunger distribution (Geography), and debate fairness in food access (Ethics). They produce a short group poster summarizing solutions to hunger.
Goals
General Competences
- Learning to learn: planning work and evaluating learning.
- Cognitive: applying inquiry methods and connecting concepts.
- Social: collaborating respectfully and sharing responsibilities.
- Personal: reflecting on fairness, empathy, and responsibility.
Subject Competences
Science:
- Interpret nutrition labels and compare energy values.
- Explain how nutrients affect health and how malnutrition occurs.
