After reading two B1-level informational texts, students explain how everyday food choices are connected with responsible consumption and production, identify common causes and effects of food waste, and use target vocabulary to suggest realistic ways to plan, store, share and use food more responsibly.

After reading two B1-level informational texts, students explain how clothing choices are connected with responsible consumption and production, identify why fast fashion can increase textile waste, and use target vocabulary to discuss ways to keep clothes in use for longer. In pairs, they create a short “Wear It Longer” plan with three realistic actions for students, families, or schools.

Students will read two short informational texts about Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), complete reading comprehension tasks, practise key vocabulary, and work in groups to create a simple ‘Responsible consumer’ action plan for their school/home.
